What to Expect
Step into a comfortable open safari vehicle and venture into thousands of hectares of pristine bushveld. Expert guides and trackers bring each sighting to life — interpreting animal behaviour, tracking wildlife, and sharing fascinating ecological insights along the way.
The reserve is home to Africa’s iconic Big 5 (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo) as well as cheetah, hyena, African wild dog, giraffe, zebra, numerous antelope species, and abundant birdlife.
Drive Times - To ensure optimal wildlife viewing, drives are offered twice daily:
Morning Drive - Early departure at sunrise when wildlife is most active and the bushveld is alive with golden light. A coffee stop is included during the drive.
Afternoon Drive - Late afternoon departure leading into sunset, when the landscape transforms under dramatic skies. Enjoy a traditional sundowner stop in the bush as the day winds down.
Drives typically last approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on sightings and wildlife activity.
